double shot chemo

Today was a good day at the Doctor's office. We were on our way back home in only 2 1/2 hours with no new appointments needed this week. It felt awesome!
My blood levels were all GOOD! My red cells went from 7.7 last week to 9.2!!!! No transfusion needed this week. What a relief! Thank you so much for your prayers and positive thoughts. They do work!
We found out there was cancer cells in the fluid they removed last week from my chest. Dr. Nguyen let us know this is normal and isn't new cancer. We are praying that the chemo will take care of it and the fluid will not return! For right now I am still breathing easier and able to get around a lot easier.
Overall it was a very good visit and I am feeing good.

Sending love, prayers and lots of positive thoughts to you all!

Susan

YAY!!! I'm so glad you are feeling better!!! I hope the chemo doesn't make you too sick this week.

Sorry I haven't been over this week, it's been a bit chaotic around here. I have my kids this weekend, but I'd like to come round on Monday if you are up to it.

Double dose this week...no chemo next week!! What a relief...no blood transfusion this time around!! I am very happy to hear that news. The news was positive and that is always reassuring.

I will be praying the fluid does not return since it was so painful to remove it.

Once the tick hand gets the needed attention...you will be feeling back to normal in no time.

Love you,

Koo-Koo

I've been trying to get back on Sue's Blog but all I keep getting is the buzz about this page can't be displayed. I've tried all the tricks of the trade available but no luck. So would you please relay my love, prayers and good wishes to Sue, Ray and all of you. You're all doing such an awesome job with caring for Sue and all working together as A WINNING TEAM. I know God is continuing to answer all our prayers for a complete and rapid healing for Sue. She's one remarkable young lady with a strong faith in Our Lord and what He can do for us in His time and not ours. She's one strong and determined young lady and all this plays a vital role in her healing process. I just love and admire you all for each doing what the Lord has planned for you to accomplish each day as the healing process goes on. Doug's flower garden is sooooooo beautiful and gives a sense of peace and trsnquility and a place to sit and meditate on what The Lord has done and will do for all of us on any given day. It was so great that Kaylee and Ashlee had the long weekend to spend with their family. I was so sorry to learn of Barb's battle with cancer too.

Love & God's peace, Aunt Helen
